Founded in 1972, JEF Europe advocates a democratic European federation that protects peace, the rule of law and human rights. We promote active European citizenship through political advocacy, education, campaigns and international exchanges.
Our federal model is based on subsidiarity: decisions stay with local, regional and national authorities wherever they can act effectively. Shared European institutions address challenges that cross borders. Our aims draw on the Manifesto of Ventotene, our political platform and resolutions adopted by our members.
